Send as Alias iOS Outlook App

Currently it's not possible to send as an alias in the iOS or Android Outlook.

This should be brought into line with OWA and Outlook Desktop

  • Hi, we apologize for the confusion where to post your Outlook product feedback. This community was intended to be a temporary location for developers to submit feature suggestions between Microsoft moving off of UserVoice and the release of Microsoft's official Feedback portal app. Now that the latter is released, we encourage you to resubmit this great suggestion on the official Outlook Feedback portal at Outlook · Community (microsoft.com).

    Kind regards,

    Linda

That would certainly work, or any number of other workarounds. The problem is it eliminates the whole point of aliases and sending as an alias, which is having one inbox and one inbox alone to have to check.

Would setting her up with shared mailboxes, under the other domains be an option? Only drawback with that would be all messages would be sent "As" or "On behalf of".

Also can't believe this isn't a thing. I've just moved a client on to Microsoft 365, and we may have to create separate mailboxes for her just because of this.

Apple Mail for iOS accounts for almost 40% of the entire email client market, for computer or mobile device. If Microsoft were serious about fixing their paltry email client market share on iOS they'd be addressing issues like this.
