We will have a broad group of product experts, servicing experts, and engineers representing Windows, Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Windows 365, Windows Autopilot, security, public sector, FastTrack, and more. They will be standing by here -- in chat -- to provide guidance, discuss strategies and tactics, and, of course, answer any specific questions you may have.
Post your questions in the Comments early and throughout the one-hour event.
Note: This is a chat-based event. There is no video or live meeting component. Questions and answers will appear in the Comments section below.

Will Intune sync ever behave similar to "Run remediation"?
Mainly Run remediation uses push notifications and not have to wait for the Windows device to poll for a sync.- RyanSteele-CoVSteel Contributor
Apparently Microsoft has been making some improvements to Intune Sync. Rudy Ooms from PatchMyPC has an informative blog post here: Intune Sync: Win32 Apps / PowerShell Scripts vs Policies

Correct. Please see the post I linked to for some more details and insight into our vision (as of last year): Intune 'fast lane' - Let's talk about all things latency - Microsoft Technical Takeoff.
One bottom line point though: don't believe the FUD around Intune managed devices only syncing every 8 hours. This has never actually been true. That doesn't mean it was (or is) always the exact experience that orgs are expecting and there are many, many caveats and corner-cases that impact reality.

Also, check out Intune 'fast lane' - Let's talk about all things latency - Microsoft Technical Takeoff. This is a session for almost exactly a year ago now that discusses latency in Intune all up and our vision and work effort to address it.

Hi, we currently have approximately 300–400 discovered devices still running Windows 22H2 or earlier. We are discussing whether to run feature updates and quality updates in parallel OR running quality update first and feature update later. The concern to run them in parallel is that a missing quality update could preventing a feature update.
One concern with running them in parallel is that missing quality updates may block or prevent a feature update from installing. Could you please share your recommendations for an effective update catch-up strategy? Thank you!
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
JamieLiu5005 Assuming these are Windows 11, version 22H2 (not Windows 10), you should be able to just do the Feature Update to a supported version of Win11 (24H2 or 25H2). They are on a different "branch" than 22H2 anyway, so the Feature Update should work to catch it up.
If they are Windows 10, they are out of support so there are no more quality or feature updates available.

Is there a plan to introduce a feature that allows data transfer, such as clipboard sharing, between host and guest (eg. Cloud PCs) exclusively on managed devices? I believe this could be referred to as context-based redirection. If so, is there any information on the expected release timeline?
- Christian_Montoya
Microsoft
Hi Petr_Falc - Like Eric mentioned, we have the 'static' RDP redirections as the basis. We also support Intune App Protection Policies for Android and iOS connections using Windows App.
We are currently investigating how to make RDP redirections more dynamic, with Entra CA authentication context as an option. As we make progress and begin development to make the redirections more dynamic, stay tuned to the In development - Windows 365 Enterprise and Frontline | Microsoft Learn page. Thanks!

Clipboard redirection is part of the RDP device redirection settings available via Intune (so you can apply this to your managed devices). Manage device RDP redirections for Cloud PCs. | Microsoft Learn Is this what you are looking for, or is your scenario different?
- Petr_FalcCopper Contributor
Thanks, Erik, but I was looking for one that would eg. allow redirection between managed<>managed device, and not between managed<>unmanaged. Is there a plan for such advancement of the redirection policies?

Is there any intention to bring the Infinite Scroll feature to "Outlook New"?
- EricMoe
Microsoft
I don't see it on the Outlook Roadmap, Microsoft 365 Roadmap | Microsoft 365 - I would recommend using the Feedback option within the New Outlook to provide this question/request directly to the Outlook team. The Feedback option is on the Help tab of New Outlook.

also the ability to scroll on Calendar as well, it only shows one month at a time for some reason.
it would be great to be able to drag a meeting to a different date on the navigation pane calendar rather than having to open the item and edit it to a new date.
copy paste on the calendar would be good to bring back as well

Is there a plan to improve uploading ADMX files in Intune so we don't need to delete the existing policy and ADMX files and recreate it with the updated templates?

An uninstall command used in deploying an intune app works locally on an endpoint but uninstallation fails when pushed from Intune
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
Hi jalex,
Is this a one-off scenario for a specific app? If so, and assuming this is Windows, how was the app installed and have you validated that it was installed in the same context as Intune is using to try to uninstall it? Specifically, if the app was installed for a specific user, only that user can uninstall it.
Is there an error code returned? Are you using Win32 apps? Have you reviewed the IME log?
