Problem with the word

Try below:

1. Check Paragraph Spacing and Line Spacing

• Select your text or the whole document (Ctrl+A).
• Right-click and choose Paragraph.
• Set Spacing Before and Spacing After to 0 pt.
• Set Line Spacing to Single or your preferred setting.
• Click OK to apply.

2. Disable Automatic Formatting Features

• Go to File > Options > Proofing > AutoCorrect Options.
• In the AutoFormat As You Type tab, uncheck options that might be causing layout shifts, such as:
  • "Set left- and first-indent with tabs and backspaces"
  • "Automatic bulleted lists"
  • "Automatic numbered lists"
  • "Format beginning of list item like the one before it"

3. Modify Styles to Prevent Auto-Update

• Open the Styles pane (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S or from the Home tab).
• Right-click the style applied to your text (often Normal or a custom style), choose Modify.
• Make sure Automatically update is unchecked.
• Ensure "Style for following paragraph" is set appropriately (e.g., Normal) to avoid unexpected formatting changes on new lines.

4. Use Keyboard Shortcuts to Reset Formatting

• Select the problematic text.
• Press Ctrl+Q to reset paragraph formatting to the style defaults.
• Press Ctrl+Spacebar to clear character-level formatting.
• Press Ctrl+Shift+N to apply Normal style formatting cleanly.

5. Avoid Pasting with Source Formatting

• When pasting content, use Paste Special > Unformatted Text or set default paste options to "Merge Formatting" or "Keep Text Only" under File > Options > Advanced > Cut, copy, and paste to prevent unwanted formatting from external sources.
