Windows 11 Upgrade

I received the error message that my computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements for windows 11.

I ran the PC health check and it stated that my CPU doesn't meet the minimum requirement.  I believe my CPU does meet the requirements of being at least 1 GHZ and 2 cores.

MY CPU is a AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor.
Any suggestions?

Windows 11 requires certain security features like TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. While the Ryzen 5 1600 can technically support TPM via firmware, Microsoft may have deemed its implementation or overall security architecture insufficient for the security baseline they set for Windows 11.

      Hi Petalongo!

Yes, give it a try and let me know how it goes. We can find some other options in case it doesn't work, and at the end there will  be a proper solution in case, as you've said, other people has the same issue.

      Regards!

It sounds like the issue might be with the TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot settings, which are also part of Windows 11's minimum requirements. Even though your CPU meets the basic specs, Windows 11 requires these additional features to be enabled in the BIOS. I’d suggest checking your BIOS settings to ensure TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are enabled. If they are, running Windows Update Troubleshooter might help. You could also check for any firmware updates for your motherboard. It worked for me in a Ryzen 3 version.

    Hope it helps!
