Microsoft wants you to pay more. And maybe next time you buy you will know it’s a throwaway machine after 4 years.

If you want to go more towards a charitable organization instead of falling for all the bells and whistles you could try debian or arch linux alongside libre office. You will save a lot of money but you might not be able to follow the hype.. and when Windows starts to go obsolete you should maybe consider switching to bsd or linux distributions… if you’re a business they usually ask you to contribute but their revenues are very low in the millions instead of billions. So even a big company like Microsoft that they themselves use it a lot will simply give them each a generous 25000$++ donation per year and be considered as a major contributor as an example. Since they aren’t as money and power hungry that they will sell their own mother to get a dollar, they support every processor basically equally, amd64 would be the version for i7 7700k.. opensuse, solaris, oracle linux are some other unix distributions possibly worth looking at… but it may be worthwhile considering as your machine starts to be considered by Microsoft as obsolete. You will find that these distributions are lightning fast with no more facebook like user tracking, or headaches such as black friday advertising on start menu, etc.. very simple to use and instead of ms office, and adobe acrobat you can use libre office, it is in a lot of ways better without monthly fees.

as you can see the Microsoft stock has been climbing substantially since the release of Windows 11. It was strictly a business decision to say well we are not going to code the i7 7700 and it appears to be working as it is setting Microsoft back on track to success. Basically each generation would require slightly different machine level codage implemented into the kernel to accommodate the nuances between different architectures that will require more testing, more support and less sales so it is not in Microsoft’s interest to do this since one way, users will be compelled to buy a new computer within 5 years or risk obsolescence and possibly security or stability while the other way a massive part of the market could continue to use Windows 11 for a longer and more indefinite period. Yes, one way makes people happy, but it’s like grazing cows at pasture, if they make the cows happy then of course that means not slaughtering them or not kicking out the newborn calf from the mother to get slaughtered as veal so that the mother can sit and moo in a lice, bug dirt infested parlor , be hormoned up, produce milk and when done doing that slaughtered. If you want to understand Microsoft, it’s time you think like a business.

Corei77700korBust it was a business decision to help maximize profits in order to help the company get back on its feet and make the stock rise back up again, against Facebook, Google, Amazon and the other sharks…
