RDP to Windows 11 workstations don't work!

Good morning

We are currently migrating our workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11. We currently have 7 computers migrated and we use remote access to them for teleworking employees. It turns out that using RDP, those who access Windows 10 computers do so without problems, but those who access Windows 11 computers have many problems with access, which is slow and crashes easily. And this happens, we tested, even when accessing from a computer on the same network as the Windows 11 computers.
I've been on the internet trying to find solutions and I haven't found any definitive solutions, just suggestions like try this or try this other thing!
I would like to know if anyone knows what is happening and how to overcome this problem. The Windows 11 installed is 24H2 build 26100.2894.
Thank you very much!

Best regards

    Hi

Thank you very much for your support. The workstations that we access remotely via RDP are full updated with Dell and Microsoft updates until this date.

I'm starting to believe that the "freeze effect" is due to some type of delay problem of RDP ability to refresh screen on the side of the computer where we are running the RDP session. When it freezes if I redo the RDP session i get the session where it should be... It's amazing that for years, if we need to connect to a Windows 10 workstation via RDP, everything went smoothly... now we have this with Windows 11!

    Best regards.

  • If NLA is enabled, try disabling it temporarily to see if that resolves the issue. You can find this setting in the System Properties under the Remote tab.

  • One thing I'd try is to check the Remote Desktop Connection configuration on the Windows 11 machines. Make sure the service is turned on and set to start automatically. You might need to enable the Remote Desktop Server and configure the security settings. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty, and maybe even try a factory reset if all else fails.

Microsoft has been releasing cumulative updates and patches to address various Windows 11 issues. Make sure both your Windows 11 hosts and the clients connecting to them have the latest updates installed. In many cases, performance and stability improvements come with these updates.
