Microsoft has been releasing cumulative updates and patches to address various Windows 11 issues. Make sure both your Windows 11 hosts and the clients connecting to them have the latest updates installed. In many cases, performance and stability improvements come with these updates.

    After installed the january updates the situation improved a little but it still freezes randomly.

      I found this thread helpful.
      I am experiencing the same problem when going through VPN while being able to connect from the physical LAN without a problem.
      NLA is enabled - I didn't disable it because after restarting I was able to connect through the same VPN connection as well
      This happens over and over again as MiguelKispo said.

      * I noticed that changing resolution and image quality show different freezing results and sometimes solve the problem
