Random Freezing on Windows 11 ( Build 22000.318.0 )
I have a new HP Laptop with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) Gold 7505 @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz with 4 GB RAM and a 120 GB SSD and have experienced random freezing since upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
The freezing can occur at any time and lasts for up to two minutes. It does this whilst using any Internet Browser either Edge or Chrome or any application or game.
I have run all the system and software checks that come provided with the HP Laptop and they pass all the time. I've reset Windows 11 and installed it from scratch only to have the same results.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this and is there likely to be a fix in the future?
Many thanks.
- shawnfinch123Copper ContributorI'm just checking back in to let anyone who needs it know what solved this problem for me. I tried everything. After trying everything I realized I recently installed a used HDD into my PC about the same time all of this started. I removed the HDD and problem solved. This might not be a fix for everyone but it could help someone. Good luck!
- shawnfinch123Copper Contributoranyone find a fix for this yet? I have the same problem. my pc was great until windows 11 update. I've tried everything the poster has tried and no luck. I might consider going back to windows 10 ive reset windows 11 twice now

it seems the gates friends dont like problems to solve, they just keep them piling up to us foot folk and send the "antiVirus" down our bloodline so you keep your satanic upright statutes.. win 11 is a scam, get out of Babylon!!!

Hi MightyAxle,
I had the same issue with the Lenovo X1 Carbon machine; however, I fixed the issue by running Windows Update and installing all the optional updates as well.
- MightyAxleCopper ContributorMany thanks for the tip. I found three option updates and installed them. Just waited to see how Windows behaves now.
