Is it safe to delete this file from my desktop? (Microsoft.Services.Store.winmd)
A few days ago I installed Okular on my Windows 11 system, and after that, this file showed up on my desktop: Microsoft.Services.Store.winmd. I haven't touched it since, because I have no idea what it is or what it's used for.
I'm worried deleting it might mess something up, but at the same time I don't want random files sitting on my desktop for no reason.
Does anyone know what this file actually does, why it ended up on my desktop, and whether it's safe to delete?

Files on the Desktop are not system-critical; Windows doesn’t rely on anything there to boot or run core services. During that okular process, some installer step likely extracted the .winmd file, and Used the Desktop as the default/current directory instead of a proper temp or app folder.
