Update the fingerprint driver in Device Manager → Right-click Biometrics Settings → Scan for hardware changes, without effect download the special driver from Huawei's official website, and re-enroll the fingerprint in Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. If you are an enterprise device you need to check whether the group policy disables biometrics.

I have windows 11 home edition. I have tried multiple drivers both from windows update and huawei's website, all of which do not currently work. I have also tried scanning for hardware changes with no avail.
