File not found
Hello,
For some time now, when I want to save a new file, Windows 11 responds with : file not found. This error also appears if I want to make changes to an existing file.
To work around this issue, I save the file in the downloads folder or give it a different name if it is an existing file. Then I transfer it to the correct location. This is a waste of time.
I think this problem is related to the use of OneDrive.
I have Windows 11, version 23H2, installed on April 15, 2024.
All security updates have been installed. But when the problem occurs, I get a security alert:
"Unauthorized changes blocked. Controlled folder access prevented ----.exe from making changes. Click to view settings."
----.exe is the name of an executable file that depends on the type of file I want to save. I click, but nothing happens.
How can I fix this problem?
Thank you for your help.

OneDrive's file system protection feature might be interfering with your file creation and modification attempts. This feature is designed to prevent malicious programs from accessing your files, but it can sometimes block legitimate programs as well.
