People in recording transcript
There is a possibility today to transcribe recordings that I do on Teams meeting,
I wanted to know if there is a possibility to get on every caption in the transcript who said the sentence
- Not known currently.
There is a uservoice open for it here
https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/38113105-include-names-in-vtt-transcripts
Would recommend to vote to push it up the agenda. Recordings are in Stream so you should be able to visually tell who is speaking by visual prompts, however I understand if this isnt always possible - especially if you are just reading the transcript. It would be a good addition. I have voted for it
Hope that answers your question!
Best, Chris
Hi Yinon_Bloch
See here
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/meeting-policies-in-teams
See Allow Transcription
Hope this answers your question. I do not think at this time it specifies who actually said what in the meeting (I.e. named individual).
