Customers unable to use our published app

Hi Team,

Our `Tact EU` app is published on Teams App Store. There are primary use cases associated with this app

1. Meeting Stage Support

2. Bot Integration for receiving real-time meeting events

Our customer is trying to use our app in their meeting, now whenever they add the app to the meeting they see the below error

Although this works fine in our tenant i.e the publisher tenant.

Our Bot is a multi-tenant type of bot. On the configuration page under Channels for bot we see below error for Microsoft Teams Channel, this might be related or unrelated we don't know for sure.

Could you please help us with this issue as it has blocked the roll out of our app to the customer?

  • muditsaxena - Is there any console error you are getting?

Could you please go to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com and check the following sections as well:

    • Teams apps > Permission policies: Is there a policy that blocks 3rd-party and custom apps to be installed by the installing user?
    • Teams apps > Setup policies : Is uploading of custom apps allowed?
    • Teams apps > Manage apps: Can you find an installation of the app in this list? If you click the Org-wide app settings and check if it indicates that users are allowed to install 3rd-party apps and interact with custom apps?

According to the error shown in Azure portal it seems like Admin has blocked the app.
Please refer this Manage app permission policies in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn and unblock/allow the app if you have admin permission. If not, contact your admin.

Prasad_Das-MSFT Admin users in the customer tenant are able to add our app to the meeting but standard users are not able to do so.

Customer has allowed access to the app through a custom app policy. Also, they have enabled the org-wide setting to allow third-party apps. They followed all steps mentioned here

      https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/microsoftteams/manage-apps#allow-and-block-apps

But still, they are facing the same issue
