Tutorial: How To Add Email Notifications To A SharePoint List
This SharePoint List tutorial will demonstrate how to implement a SharePoint List email notification using Microsoft Power Automate. The tutorial will demonstrate how to create an email notification workflow for a SharePoint list that will send an email to individuals referenced in a list item and that includes data from the list item in the body of the email. The example featured includes a SharePoint Online list that is being used to track project task assignments. Once an item is added to the list, the workflow implemented will send an email to the task owner and the email will feature values from the task record that triggered the workflow. Similarly, once an item is completed, an email will be sent to the task owner and the task collaborator communicating that the task has been completed. The approach outlined in this video is one of several ways to implement SharePoint Online list email notifications.
