We created a survey for several hundred of our staff in Microsoft Forms. Then using Flow the responses get saved to a SharePoint list and Flow sends out an email with a customised subject and the responses the user put into the form together with our logo and other information. It works very well. Send me a message or post a reply if you'd like the exact steps.

I was interested to see you took the extra step of saving responses to a list which hadn't occurred to me. I imagine there are several benefits, easier to view for people, additional metadata, centralised info. Was that your reasoning? Any other benefits to that step?- RobElliottSilver Contributor
Hi Paul Paul Chapman we saved the form responses to a SharePoint list because the data wasn't just a standalone survey which could be analysed via the spreadsheet. It was responses & info that the user submits which needs to be held for the future and updated periodically by a central member of staff. That person goes into a quite nice-looking PowerApps form so can see & update the info more easily than with a default SharePoint form.

Hi,
I think this is a case for Flow isn't it? I got a rough example of this working just now with a flow that is triggered 'When a new response is submitted', then Initialises and Sets a Variable with the ID of the new response and then sends an email which can be customised with the fields. Does that help?

Hi Paul,
thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I don't have experience with the Flow... But I will try to understand it.
