Something like SharePoint, but public facing?
I'm not sure if this is against the guidelines here, if so I'm sorry.
I was wondering if anyone has some experience with a CMS that is as easy to use as SharePoint Online but for public facing websites?
I'm specifically referring to page creation tools, that allow easy to use, drag 'n' drop webparts/widgets, an so on.

I would recommend to take a look at Sitecore CMS for public facing websites. Please refer article below.

Sitecore is a great tool and I'm a huge fan, but IMO doesn't meet the "as easy to use as SharePoint". It's a high end Web CMS and has been #1 rated by Gartner for many years and if the requirements dictate then it would certainly do the job (and more). If however, the need is more simple then there are many other, easier and cheaper alternatives. As always, it comes down to "what is the problem you're trying to solve".

Are we talking about something like WordPress? That's the first one I think of, it's hugely popular, can be extended easily with plug-ins, lots of hosting options (including Azure) and the new Gutenberg editor is block based, though it's still very new and in testing currently:
"These content blocks transform how users, developers, and hosts interact with WordPress to make building rich web content easier and more intuitive, democratizing publishing — and work — for everyone, regardless of technical ability."

I have never seen site core in action. I'll take a look at it, thanks.
