Site Activity Webpart missreporting Viewed date

Hi Experts,

several of the users complained that Site Activity webpart misreported "Viewed" property on the documents(not sure if this is even the thing).

At the reported time they were out of the office and had no access to the network.

I have found one instance of someone reporting this issue roughly a year ago here: Re: Site Activity Webpart issue - Microsoft Tech Community - 470487 , sadly there were no responses to that ticket.

Have any of you dealt or heard about such an issue in the past? What would be possible vectors of analysing this?
