It won't necessarily experience bugs, it's designed to not go more than 50 templates, alphabetically.
Are you still experiencing this issue? This might be due to the new SharePoint Template Gallery rollout. Some templates appear and disappear because the feature is still being deployed across tenants and there are indexing and caching bugs, especially when you have more than 50 templates in the gallery.
