SharePoint Start Page is not loading for new users
I have a demo tenancy. I have created several new user accts over that last few days which are having issues getting to SharePoint via the M365 app waffle.
Accounts can login in, authenticate etc, get to the M365 landing page. But when they try to open SharePoint from the waffle, the usual SP welcome screens appear momentarily, glitch out and then the page goes completely blank. There is no route to SharePoint.
There should be some featured links in here. Users all have business basic licenses.
This is weird because users can open all the other apps, Teams, OL, OD etc - so they are signed in correctly. They can also access their SharePoint sites directly by typing in the url, and also from Teams via Viva Connect. So there is nothing wrong with their SP permissions.
I have noticed if I make my user account a global admin, the SharePoint Start page displays correctly, but as soon as I remove global admin and log back in, it bugs out again. Clearly I can't make all my users global admins.
I've tested in all browsers, both inprivate and regular. Does anyone know what's going on here? Thank you!

- Victoria SymonsBrass ContributorFor us it seems to be either newly created users or those who have had new licenses applied. The welcome screens aren't loading as they should.
Have now noticed it in several tenancies now.
