SharePoint List Form Field Style Changed
Hi Everyone!
I run into a problem, that yesterday something changed in our Sharepoint lists. When we want to add a new list item or edit one, the date picker style is changed. Previously the date and time picker was merged in one control and there was only one date and time row for it.
Now there are two rows, one for date and one for time (time is now dropdown). The date control itself shows the week numbers as well (which is not set in the "Site Settings -> Site Administration -> Region Settings"). I would like to change back the previous style (looks more modern and faster to work with)
Previous (I want to change back to):
Current Date Time picker (I want to get rid of):
Not only the date and time picker changed, but everything else as well, every field's fill color is light gray, border is black... previously was transparent fill color and the border was the same as the site theme color (in this case purple).
Thank you for your help in advance!
I can see the same behavior in our SharePoint tenant as well. I think this is happening because of recent feature updates to SharePoint and Microsoft Lists.
I will suggest you to raise a support ticket with Microsoft directly and report this behavior: Get M365 Support - Online Support

I've just run into this same issue. It seems to happen when you replace the default form with a custom PowerApps form.
Would love to find a way around it because I really don't like the old datepicker control, and it also gets used when you have an inline edit field.
- cyoungCoWCopper ContributorI have the same issue! I have another SharePoint site with a date picker but that one uses the newer version.
