SharePoint- External sharing error

I keep getting the following error when sharing site with external user:

 

Microsoft.SharePoint.InvitationUpdateException was thrown.

 

This is the first time this has happened. It has been working fine until today!

 

Any help with this?

    Is this SharePoint Online or SharePoint OnPremises? In case of SharePoint Online, I'm afraid we cannot help a lot here so I recommend you to open a support ticket

      I'll let Trent know to open a ticket - we're in the same company....I was the one having the issue
