Printing a document directly from a SharePoint document library

I don't believe the functionality has ever been in One Drive or Sharepoint online.
Options as I see it are
- Open in Word online and then you get the print facility (kind of replicates the preview)
- If you are syncing locally then the print facility is still there in Windows Explorer.

The process you laid out is the best one I could come up with. Not the best but it does work and works consistently.
