Permissions to Subfolder not granting acces to parent

Dear luvsql,

This worked for me.

Create an access level named "blind access"

Assign the following permissions to this access level:
- View Items - View items in lists and documents in document libraries.
- Browse Directories - Enumerate files and folders in a website using SharePoint Designer and Web DAV interfaces.
- View Pages - View pages on a website.
- Open - Allow users to open a website, list, or folder to access items in that container.

Then invite users who need access to subfolders with this access level to the parent folders (this is possible in the advanced settings of the access management of a folder). This worked for me, users only have access to the subfolders for which they are supposed to have access
