Opening iframe Links in a New Tab

So I'm having trouble with iframes in SharePoint right now. I am hoping there is a way to make it so when a user clicks on something within the embedded iframe website, it opens that link in a new tab for them. So far, I have had no luck and it simply keeps the links within the iframe on the SharePoint site. If anyone knows how to solve this, it would be much appreciated!
