Libraries, dynamic filtering and buttons

Is it possible to set up a series of buttons that can determine how the contents of a library are displayed?

I have set up a dynamic filter on a web page so that the library contents displayed in the webpart depend on the choice made in the dynamic filter(5 items).  My internal customer has asked if those selections can be preset behind a row of buttons instead of making the choice in the dynamic filter.  eg button 1 would have item 1 from the dynamic filter, button 2 would have item 2 from the dynamic filter, so that clicking on the button would have the same effect as clicking on the item in a dynamic filter.

My internal customer likes the dynamic display elements but wants that behind a preselection button.  Is this possible?

Ray_B58 there are a few different approaches to this but you can't just add buttons to the SharePoint library. You could either create views of the library and the user just selects the appropriate view from the "All documents" dropdown in the top right. Or you could take a different approach and embed a Power Apps web part in a SharePoint page. The app is quite simple and has a series of buttons which display the documents based on which button was clicked. Clicking on the document then opens it. A quick example of this is shown in the attached video. Come back if you have any questions or if you want more details of how to build something like this.
