Large document library: Deleted Documents but Settings count is still high
After how long does the settings items reading (see pic below) refresh?
I have a document library with over 100k items (large).
I got an error when trying to break inheritance. I believe this is due to the size.
I deleted most of the documents/folders. The doc lib is almost empty but the settings items count is still the same.
I still can't perform actions that are prohibited on large lists.
After how long does this number get refreshed?

- Well, if the number of items is still large no matter the folders you delete, you are going to have the problem reported
Called Microsoft Support.
They fixed it. Apparently there was a file that was 'hanging' or 'locked' during the delete process.
Now its ok.
