Issues with subsite permissions
Hello,
I'm having this issue with a subsite's permissions where a user is able to access the root site, but can't access this subsite.
Here's the thing...the subsite's permission inherit from the root site. So by theory this means that the user should also be able to access the subsite if they can access the root site in Sharepoint.
Is there any reason behind this?
Thanks in advanced!

- Andrew SilcockSteel ContributorCheck the permissions against the pages/site pages library. Perhaps the inheritance is broken on those libraries. Alternatively, the page set as the homepage might have incorrect permissions.

I need a doubt cleared.
Site permissions are different from that of page permissions, right? Or are they the same?
- Andrew SilcockSteel ContributorThey can be different, they can also be the same.
Your site pages or pages library can inherit the permissions from the site permissions. Alternatively, you can stop inheriting and have unique permissions.
