In SharePoint Online, how many people can sync one library with OneDrive client ?

I am sorry if it is a topic of the past.

I saw this kb so understood we should be careful with the number of files in document library of sharepoint online synchronized with OneDrive client.

But I don't know if we should be careful about the number of OneDrive clients sync to one document library.

If you are actually sync with a lot of people, would you tell me how many people can use, and if any problems are occuring?

(I think whether it is possible to sync with about thoudands of employees.)

Thank you for answering Stephan and Christopher.

I understand it except that there is no problem except operation conflict.

If there are people who are actually using many people synchronously and open this topic, I'd like to hear more of the usability voices. How are you?

I checked with one of our sync experts and there is no limit on the number of people who can sync a library. Thanks!

If you have heavy document modifying going on with that large set of users, expect alot of complaints about locked files if they are editing non office documents, and or have old office versions of clients that don't support co-authoring on office files ;P.

        Thanks for the Clarification Stephen.
  • curious myself, but I'm sure quite a bit can sync at the same time. Would like to know what the tested estimates are :p
