- TimC1025Copper ContributorThanks for the tour. I like the new layout, particularly the tabs for views. Do you know whether or when it will be deployed to libraries as well?
- Hi,
Thanks no clue about that
- EiC4733Brass ContributorGood morning,
I find that for the moment the format of the supported columns remains limited. We hope that an update will quickly implement the compatible columns - Lee_EBrass Contributor
Lists are certainly far faster now, this is a great result. I do have two new issues though.
Does anyone know what's happened to the quick access panel that used to appear on the right? Previously I could easily edit rows by having that open and selecting a row. Now I have to click on the row to have it pop open then edit it and close it again, this is far less efficient when I have 100s of rows to edit this way and undoes the performance benefits. We're also going to need to update all of our documentation as this was used across the business. These are critical UX changes that really should be pubished in advance.
I get considerably more errors with the loading of lists, i.e. failed to load refesh the page and 401. - _J-K_Copper Contributor
Looks like that last week, the new UI to SharePoint lists has been deployed to our tenant. Can these changes be disabled?
Lists now MUST have an icon!? Sorry, but the choice of icons is not reflecting any content that a list can have, so you need to chose one, which might be closest and you can't chose "none", the icon comes with a background color, but none of the colors you can chose would fit to our corporate identity.
Columns now have an icon showing the data type, this is wasting space, especially when it comes to many column lists and this is so unnecessary.
Available views are now shown as tabs, which make them more prominent, as we do not have the option to show/hide views based on permissions, users are now seeing views that were at least a little hidden at the drop down menu before.- Rob_ElliottBronze Contributor
No, they can't be disabled.
