How to use the new Microsoft Lists features [New Feature 2024]
Looks like that last week, the new UI to SharePoint lists has been deployed to our tenant. Can these changes be disabled?
Lists now MUST have an icon!? Sorry, but the choice of icons is not reflecting any content that a list can have, so you need to chose one, which might be closest and you can't chose "none", the icon comes with a background color, but none of the colors you can chose would fit to our corporate identity.
Columns now have an icon showing the data type, this is wasting space, especially when it comes to many column lists and this is so unnecessary.
Available views are now shown as tabs, which make them more prominent, as we do not have the option to show/hide views based on permissions, users are now seeing views that were at least a little hidden at the drop down menu before.

No, they can't be disabled.
