files appear to the author but not appearing to the admin and other users
I have a sharepoint library with more than 20 K file in nested folders.
the problem is : the employee has added alot of files recently but those files appear to him only, I can't see them as site admin or farm admin, and the other users couldn't see them as well, this library files with unique permission.

If the files are not checked out (this is the issue 99% of the time in my experience), maybe target audiences are set on the library/documents?
- do they possibly require additional metadata and are still checked out (little green icon with arrow) due to this?
there is no versioning, or check out action on this library, its normal document library
- It clearly seems the files are checkout so none can see them :-)...the user should check in the documents or an administrator can also do it
