Faded text in top link bar in Modern experience with classic theme color layout

Starting about two weeks ago, the text on the menu bar on our modern pages suddenly became faded. It appears to only affect pages. If I go to a list, the text is fine. After testing multiple combinations, this issue appears under the following conditions:

*You have a modern page

*You chose a classic theme "Change the look, click "Classic change the look options"

*You chose a color palette with the white/light gray in the middle square. All other combinations are fine and will not cause the faded text.

All the built-in modern color layouts work fine, but it doesn't let you choose a background image. We chose this classic color theme because it allows us to put a background image and have it visible. The other ones are darker and will cover the background. It was working fine for months then broke 2 weeks ago. No addons or customizations were made to our tenant.

I have worked with support over the last 2 weeks. They are unable to resolve this, but they were able to replicate this issue on multiple separate tenant/site, so it is not just me. I was told Microsoft is working on some UI updates that may have affected this. There is no fix however at the moment, and support directed me to post here, in hopes the developers can test and fix this bug.

In summary, it seems modern pages do not like specific classic themes. Anyone else encounter this? Should be easy to replicate.
