Faded text in top link bar in Modern experience with classic theme color layout

Anyone encounter this?
We have had possibly the same issue since yesterday, all our global navigations have disappeared on team sites. We're checking to see if this was caused by an update somewhere to the banner options.
Our top level navigation re-appeared the next morning. No idea why it vanished for about 12 hours.
Our navigation is still there, but the text is faint. It may be a different problem than yours.
