The sync issue is well known and not still fixed by Microsoft in the Sync client: when you sync documents with mandatory columns, files are synchronized in read only mode. So, you're telling me that if we have required metadata columns, we can only sync through File Explorer/ as "read only?"
...Is there any work-around? (without making the metadata fields "optional")

- Russell SeamerDec 06, 2017Copper ContributorThank you! This has caused me pain for so long without finding an answer. I made the column optional and I can now edit on all machines where I synced.
If only the error message explained why it was read-only... - Stuart AndersonOct 24, 2017Copper Contributor
Is this still a known issue?
