Declare record greyed out for users with Edit Permission on document folder
Hi, I have enabled record declaration in SharePoint Online. This works for me on our SharePoint site. I wanted to enable this for another user on a folder. I have given him Contribute permissions and then Edit permissions. The option is greyed out for him. Any ideas why? Thanks for your time, Ollie

I have the same problem, one user can use that function and the other cannot.
Both with the same permissions. Some problem with the office client?
