Create blank xlsx file in SP using Javascript sharepoint REST API

Hello,&nbsp;I'm trying to create a blank Excel file in SP using the javascript rest API. The file is successifly created but when I open it I get the error : unable to open the workbook.&nbsp;&nbsp;Do you have any idea ?&nbsp;&nbsp;Thanks,Hicham&nbsp;
