Control access to a list or document library based on persons selected in a "Person" Coumn
Hello.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I am trying to do the following:
- I have a document library with various folders.
- I have a column for the salesmen where I select the salesman associated with the folder.
- My question is whether it is possible to control the access to the folders based on the person who is indicated in the folder column.

ACorbin You can try using Power Automate to manage access to folder based on person column.
Creating a separate library with broken inheritance might be a better solution depending on how many you need to create. Breaking permissions at item/folder level can easily get out of hand.
