Column formatting editProps stopped working
Hi,
We use custom column formatting to add a pen icon next to the document name.
When clicking on the pen, the edit form opens.
Today we noticed this stopped working. Did anything change? What can we do to fix this?

I have the same issue; the button doesn't work. Is there anyone for whom it works?
We are experiencing the same issue. When we refresh the page and click on the button, it simply does not work. But when we change the view and then click on the button it works fine. This was fully functional earlier. But now it's giving this issue.
There are at least one more issue with the formatting. You are supposed to be able to hide commandbar buttons but this is not working properly anymore fore at least one button. The "new link" (newLink) button can not be hidden. I have reported this as well and awaiting their answer.

I have also experienced this problem, but for a couple of days now the behaviour has changed, now when we click on the button a window opens (not the panel on the right as it did when it worked) and although the action is ‘editProps’ the screen is opened in ViewMode.
Have you also experienced this new behaviour?We are experiencing this new behavior now too.
I just noticed this as well. A window opens but as you said in View mode and not edit all mode.
I also contacted the support team about this a couple of days ago but they only tried to blame my formatting which has been working flawlessly for several years. Not until I gave them a link to this post they admitted there could be an issue. 😆
This also seem to have affected Power Automate triggers. I had some Power Automate flows connected to several libraries through formatted buttons and figured out which library the flow was triggered from by reading Entity/itemUrl from the trigger. This is no longer possible since only site name and document Guid is included.Same here, we have several solutions built on this.
I'm guessing that building a 'field-customizer' would be an alternative to this.i submitted a ticket with Microsoft support and they said it was due to an update, and the next update will include the fix for this due out before the end of March.

Same here.
Basically if you see 'Details' next your view, you are screwed.
If not, than it still works:
You'll see the 'i' symbol when you use the search.
'editProps' still works there...
They also broke the 'compact list' view.
Some columns seem to be alligned to 'buttom' while others don't... just a messwe are having the same issue, has been working for a very long time, as of today stopped working on all of our sites.
