Change Default link permission (MC117805)

A new feature has been annonced in our message center, which is the possiblity to change the default link type, message ID MC117805. This is working great but the attached knowledge article is also mentioning the ability to change the Default link permission and that is not visible for us.

Does anybody else has this option in their tenant?

    JoostKoopmans1This is nice but now how about allowing us to change that to people with existing access as a default.  Anything else is dangerous to users - especially on Copy Link.  I get the Sharing one makes sense it will break inheritance but not copy link.

    Hi,

     

    in the article it is stated, this is for SharePoint Online.

    Is it available for Onedrive for Business as well?

    That option is being gradually rolled out--you should have it before too long.
