Can't add a wiki page from settings menu
Hi
I wonder if anyone can help with a query.
I have a SharePoint subsite within my organisations Enterprise site (Office365).
Up until recently, clicking the cog icon for the settings menu and selecting 'Add a page' in my Wiki App, created a new wiki page within the App.
When I now try to add a page using this method a site page is created (and saved in the site pages library).
If I open the wiki and select Page - View All Pages - New I can add a wiki page, so I know the functionality is still there.
We have not made any changes to the sub site configurations and the Global Admins tell me they have not made any changes or applied updates at root level.
They don't seem to be able to help and I can't find any relevant information on the internet so thought I'd post the question here.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why this may have happened and how to revert back?
Cheers
David
This is the new normal. Add a Page creates a new Modern Page.

Hi Kevin
Many thanks for your respone.
I had already changed my settings to Classic experience which didn't make a difference so I thought I was barking up the wrong tree.
Do you know if there is any other way to revert it if i only have control of a subsite?
Many thanks for your help with this.
Cheers
David
- Which settings did you change? Library settings? Or the Tenant settings in SP Admin Center?
