Can't add a wiki page from settings menu

This is the new normal. Add a Page creates a new Modern Page.

I had already changed my settings to Classic experience which didn't make a difference so I thought I was barking up the wrong tree.
Do you know if there is any other way to revert it if i only have control of a subsite?

- Which settings did you change? Library settings? Or the Tenant settings in SP Admin Center?

I changed the view in the Library settings as I do not have access to SP Admin Centre.
The view options I have are Deafult, New, Classic and I presumed this would apply locally to my sub site only.
(I actually changed ALL of my libraries to Classic view, just in case it made any difference).
