Blank fields when editing an existing list element

Please, I need someone's help. I have several lists in different sharepoint that worked as expected until a few days ago.

 

Since then, when I try to edit an existing element in any list (I get the same result regardless I'm just a member or an admin), all the fields appear empty (as you can see in the following image), and if I click save they really update to blank.

 

Yesterday I ask another member of one of these sharepoint to check if he also gets the same behaviour, but for him it works fine.

 

Does anyone know what my problem could be?

    I had this same issue, and I discovered that the problem was that I had items grouped by date (I suspect the same issue occurs if you have any grouping on any column). As soon as I ungrouped the column, I found I could then click on individual items and see all the details. I hope this is helpful!

    Hi to all,

    I've noticed that without doing anything at all, my lists work perfectly now in teams and in chrome...

    Anyone else?

      Yes, in my case (in all my company) my list works perfectly too without any action.

        Good news, but bad news too

        then may be my change was just done at the same time the issue has been fixed
        but it means we may experience the same issue again next month when applying new patches...

    Same situation for me, except that I'm not using Power Automate at all for my 3 SharePoint Lists. Can't wait for a resolution from Microsoft!

      Hi Guys,


      after endless discussion with Microsoft support (asking to extact logs every 5 days...), I finally found a way to fix this display issue for my lists

       

      as explained above it was linked to the synchronization

      try to go to your list settings > advanced settings 

      and then try to deactivate the authorization to download element of your list when disconnected

      sorry it's in French

       

       

      after moving this parameter to No, all our lists impacted by this issue were working (with just a ctrl+F5)

        It started working for us as well. Microsoft Support says they did not do anything on their end.

    Hi all...
    It seems to be solved and there was nothing wrong with us (our machines)... just a Sharepoint glitch.
    Anyway, happy as hell...

      Some of my team members have begum with the **bleep** issue something like a week ago... and finally today the nightmare has begun in my computer.
      I'm quite desperate: a big project of SharePoint in my company is in danger of not being realised because of that.
      Hope Microsoft fixes it urgently...

        The only solution i can think of is writing a flow with Power Automate Desktop that closes Teams and wipes the cache of Teams (deletes %appdata% content). You could link it to a button and add it the interface or something. Quite barbarian, but that's all I can think of lol. Unless we actually figure out what element in the cache is actually causing the bug.

        Hello,
        i'm having exatcly the same issue.
        using also powerautomate to create item in my list

        i have faced it last month, after monthly Microsof tupdate
        and it came back to normal
        but it just came back today...

        any help would be appreciated

    Hello, I have the same problem, when I (and many of my users) edit existing list element the fields are blank on the sahrepoint form.
    But i work fine when I run the browser in private mode !

      Hi... yes, It seems that the error is related to Sharepoint cookies, so in private mode you may not have the problem the same as if you delete the cookies ...
      Question: what is your language and region. It seems to be related to Spain and traditional Spanish.

      thanks GermanGomez, it was a good idea but it didn't work in this particular case. Somewhere and somehow I have a mix language between Spanish an English, and I think that's the key to solve the problem.

    Hi Marta, I found your first request here. I remember, that if I send a team into archive (which is possible in the Teams Admin Center), my lists and libraries in the Teams SharePoint Base are archived as well. Did somebody archive your Team (private Group) by accident??

      I don't really understand what you are saying but I have the same problem in a Team where I'm the owner and the only member (is the one that I use to try things before updating the ones with other people), and I haven´t change anything there that I remember

        I have just realized one thing, eventhough all the fields seem to be blank when editing, only the ones with date format maintein their value when saving.

        I tried creating a new list with 2 columns (number and text) and it worked fine, then I add another column with date format and the same problem appeared.

        I really don't understand anything. Is any of this ringing a bell for you?
