(') apostrophe character issue with Folder names in SharePoint Online
Hi Community,
We are facing a strange behavior in our 0365 SPO tenant. If a user uploads a document and that document contains (') character OR the folder in document library in which the document resides contains (') character then the following right click on the document stops working.
As per official documentation there is no restriction on this character but this is happening for us. Is anyone else facing the same problem OR is their a configuration problem with my tenant?
I noticed a similar problem in Teams when I click on a file which name contains an apostrophe. The message 'Hmm… looks like this file doesn't have a preview we can show you. + Download Button' is displayed. If I rename the file without the apostrophe, the preview works well.
Do you get the same behaviour as this:
I moved my powerpoint to a site that doesn't include a apostrophe and I'm still getting the same problem.
