How to calculate the total delay on the programme
Please, someone could help me to calculate the actual total delay in Ms Project Professional?
I have set up my baseline, updated my status date, and updated the project. But I cannot find any column the shows my total days of delay. It shows me the dates till the end of the project but not till the status date.

Apply the Tracking Gantt view so that you can see the current schedule compared with the Baseline schedule, and then apply the Variance table. Look at the Finish Variance column to see the total delay for the entire project.
Also, make sure that you have the Project Summary Task (aka Row 0 or Task 0) displayed in your project, as this row will contain the total delay for the project, as shown in the Finish Variance cell. Hope this helps.- I made all this but the finish variance does not include the dates between the date that the project finish and the status date.

You could calculate delay duration within a custom field. For reference, date difference formula can help in providing duration - ProjDateDiff([Finish],[Status Date]). In case, you want calculate delay based on planned / forecasted date then use "Baseline Finish" date instead of "Finish" field. Since, Status date is used in the formula, you can change Status date in Project Information section to view delays accordingly.

I cannot see how your formula shows any kind of delay. Would you care to explain?
Perhaps you should reschedule as of the status date, all backlogged project work, and then, as Dale says, look at the finish variance field, at the project summary task level (Id=0). To reschedule the late job, you can use the option: Status > Update Project > Reschedule uncompleted work to start after: Status date ... For Entire project.
You can then undo, or maintain the impact of any potential delays and take action to shorten the timeframe for the remaining time.
