How to calculate the total delay on the programme
Please, someone could help me to calculate the actual total delay in Ms Project Professional? I have set up my baseline, updated my status date, and updated the project. But I cannot find any column...
Perhaps you should reschedule as of the status date, all backlogged project work, and then, as Dale says, look at the finish variance field, at the project summary task level (Id=0). To reschedule the late job, you can use the option: Status > Update Project > Reschedule uncompleted work to start after: Status date ... For Entire project.
You can then undo, or maintain the impact of any potential delays and take action to shorten the timeframe for the remaining time.
