Partner Center Developer Identity Verification Stuck

My Microsoft Partner Center account is stuck at Legal > Developer > Identity Verification, with the Verification Status consistently showing "Rejected".

I have two key questions regarding the identity information submission for AU10TIX verification:

1. Does the contact person name filled in the account need to exactly match the legal name of the account holder?

2. What standard information must be provided to prove the submitter is the legitimate account owner and successfully trigger AU10TIX identity authentication?

I have already submitted a support ticket for this issue, but the only reply I received via email simply stated that my submitted information was incorrect, without specifying which fields or content failed the review. I am still unable to identify the exact error in my submission and cannot complete the identity verification process.

Could anyone share the correct filling standards for identity verification materials, or advise on how to resolve this persistent rejected status?

  • Hi MEDELI2026, the contact name should generally match the legal identity document for the person being verified, and the company details should match the legal business registration as closely as possible. If support only says the information is incorrect, I’d ask them to confirm which category failed: personal identity, business legal name, address, domain ownership, or authority to act for the company.
