Stuck setting up our legal business profile for almost 2 months
Microsoft is a highly unreliable and non trustful company we have the same problem for 2 1/2 months.
Be sure that the hostname of your company somewhat matches your domain name. Use real names for email addresses (not sales, contact, etc). Be sure the information matches the D&B DUNS entry if you don't have one get one.
In our case the Identity verification in the developer section links us to a page which shows permission denied, and it gave us a link to file another ticket. This verification however works for "Partners" it links to a website with information about au10tix, even the verification for the "Partners" section worked.
There we received following answers from the website we got to through the "Fix Me" Link:
1. Ticket closed:
Hello,
Thanks for connecting us!
Kindly may I request you to create a new ticket with Microsoft alias so we can assist you further.
I am closing this ticket as external.

Tip to Microsoft: fire this person. They cannot assist you further since you cannot raise a ticket there only a Microsoft employee can do that.

2. Ticket closed:
Hi,
Please open a new ticket under the Microsoft and LinkedIn alias, as we do not provide service for tickets other than Microsoft and LinkedIn.

Tip to Microsoft: Kuldeep and the other ones should communicate directly with the Partner Portal goons rather than dropping the ticket and leaving the issue unresolved.

Please ask Microsoft contact to raise ticket. We do not deal with external contact directly.

So why do they put the link there where the user should raise a ticket if they don't accept any message from the user. It seems like every single goon at that Microsoft entity has a default message and you cannot communicate with them they will never read what you write into the message to them. Shejal's message was pretty clear at least. Another goon at Microsoft has to raise the ticket to resolve the problem it seems...
For 2 1/2 months the support was not helpful at all.
We are reaching out to other entities the latest one BBB better business bureau and filed a complaint. Let's see which other relevant websites we can find out there. This entire Partner Portal is out of control at Microsoft.
