Your mail provider isn't delivering self-sent messages back to your Inbox, or a rule/filter is moving them somewhere else. Ffirst check Spam, Archive, Trash, and any filters you've set up. If everything looks normal, try sending the same message from a different email account to see whether the issue is specific to self-addressed emails.

    Hi elroygato,

If the email is showing in your Sent folder but not your Inbox, it usually means it was sent successfully but wasn't delivered back to your mailbox. Check your Junk/Spam folder, search for the email, and make sure you don't have any inbox rules moving or deleting it automatically. If you're using a third-party email account, try checking your mailbox through its web version as well.

  • Hi elroygato, when you send an email to yourself and it only appears in Sent but not Inbox, first check whether the message is being grouped into an existing conversation or moved by a rule. In Outlook, search for the subject across All Mailboxes and check Inbox, Junk, Deleted, Archive, and Conversation History. If you use Outlook.com or Microsoft 365, also test in Outlook on the web because that separates an Outlook app problem from a mailbox delivery problem. If the message appears on the web but not the app, rebuild or re-add the Outlook profile. If it does not appear anywhere except Sent, check rules, forwarding, blocked senders, and Focused/Other inbox filtering.

How to add more than 1 rule somewhat confusing.  All OK now.

Email going to inbox and "|sent" now

        Thank you
