sent e-mails to myself get to 'sent ' box but NOT to IN BOX.

If the email is showing in your Sent folder but not your Inbox, it usually means it was sent successfully but wasn't delivered back to your mailbox. Check your Junk/Spam folder, search for the email, and make sure you don't have any inbox rules moving or deleting it automatically. If you're using a third-party email account, try checking your mailbox through its web version as well.
