Effect of exchange online changes on outlook for Mac

Hello Everyone,

If we make config changes in or for exchange online, do they have any effect on mac outlook clients?

Like if we make some org-wide settings in exchange online using PowerShell. 

I am not talking about a certain command just need to understand if with or without PS it affects outlook clients.
